Ireland attracts 45 thousand tourists during the 2013 Gulf


Ireland succeeded in attracting 45 thousand during the Gulf in 2013 , an increase of 7 % from last year , according to Amanda Burns, Director-General of the Tourism Authority of Ireland.
She stressed that the decision to Emirates Airlines to increase the number of flights between Dubai and Dublin proof of the growing numbers wishing to travel to Ireland and the enormous potential for growth in tourism from the Gulf states , noting that the increase in the number of flights to 14 flights a week from the first of September of this year indicate growth hard in the number of visitors to Ireland , according to the newspaper " Union " .
Said Amanda Burns , there are four factors push tourism to the island, the Irish products distinctive and easy to process visa applications and marketing activities in the Gulf region and the most important factor which is easy access to the market , and the doubling of the number of trips dramatically improve access and increase the chances of visitors to the Gulf countries experience all that can be Irish for the island has to offer .
It showed that the Gulf has a market of strategic importance is growing and has a lot of opportunities for growth in tourism , and we look forward to working with Emirates Airlines and our network of tour operators and travel agents in the GCC countries in order to push tourism to Ireland .
