The Franco-British summit opened Friday, Jan. 31 at the military base Brize Norton , near Oxford . President of the Republic, François Hollande , accompanied by four ministers - including those of Foreign Affairs , Laurent Fabius, and defense , Jean- Yves Le Drian - a few hours to address several issues with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
During the first part of the summit, it is the defense that dominated trade with the announcement of several agreements that fall within the extension of the two treaties Lancaster House concluded in November 2010 at a Franco- top British between Nicolas Sarkozy and David Cameron.
